Two Adults, Zero Kids and Maximum Disney Magic!
Let me start by saying this: Disney isn't just for kids, and anyone who says otherwise clearly hasn't experienced the pure joy of riding Space Mountain without having to explain why Mickey Mouse is flying through space.
My husband and I are massive Disney and Marvel fans, so when we planned our September trip to Paris, Disneyland was absolutely non-negotiable. Two full days of magic, zero judgment and all the churros we could handle.
🏰 Official Disneyland Paris App (Must-Have!)
Whether you're planning your visit or already in the heart of the magic, the Disneyland Paris app turns your phone into a magic wand that will help you prepare your stay and enjoy your day!
Where We Stayed: Apparthotel Torcy
We based ourselves at Apparthotel Torcy, about 20 minutes from the parks by RER train. Perfect for Disney adults on a budget who still want proper space to spread out after long park days. The apartment setup meant we could grab breakfast supplies and have somewhere to collapse with all our Disney purchases (and trust me, there were many).
Pro tip: The RER A line runs directly from Torcy to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station (Disneyland).

Morning Magic
The empty Main Street USA at opening time? Pure Instagram gold. No kids running around, just us and that perfect golden hour lighting hitting Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Must-Do Morning Rides:
Big Thunder Mountain - Front row, hands up, living our best cowboy lives
Phantom Manor - The French twist on Haunted Mansion is chef's kiss
Pirates of the Caribbean - Longer than the US versions and absolutely stunning
Marvel Madness
The Marvel Campus area was our main event. As huge Marvel fans, we probably spent three hours here just soaking it all in.
Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure - Interactive web-slinging that actually made us feel like superheroes Avengers Campus - Character meet-and-greets with Spider-Man and Captain Marvel (yes, we queued, yes, we're adults, no, we don't care)
Disney Stars on Parade: The Daily Spectacle
Disney Stars on Parade is the world-famous daily parade that brings magic to life as it winds through Disneyland Park. Watch beloved Disney characters dance on colourful floats while enchanting music fills the air, immersing you in classic Disney stories like never before. The parade typically takes place once daily at 5:30 PM, though times can vary by season during summer months, you might catch it at 11:30 AM instead. Pro tip: arrive 30 minutes early to snag the best viewing spots along Main Street or near Sleeping Beauty Castle!
Important timing note: Disney Stars on Parade takes a scheduled break from November 8, 2025 to January 6, 2026, so plan accordingly if you're visiting during the holiday season.
Disney Tales of Magic: The Grand Finale
End your magical day with Disney Tales of Magic, the stunning new nighttime spectacular that premiered in January 2025. This 20-minute show is a technological marvel, featuring projections on both Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A.—a first in Disneyland Paris history. Journey through beloved stories from Encanto, The Lion King, Toy Story, Coco, and more, all brought to life with cutting-edge effects.
The show combines 60 ultra-powerful lighting fixtures, 15 lasers, pyrotechnics, fountains, and even drones that create 3D figures in the night sky. It's an emotional, immersive experience that will leave you spellbound and provides the perfect ending to your Disney day

Day Two: Walt Disney Studios Park - Where Movie Magic Lives
Animation Obsession
Ratatouille: The Adventure - This ride is perfection. Shrinking down to Remy's size and racing through Gusteau's kitchen? We rode it three times and regretted nothing.
Crush's Coaster - Spinning through the Finding Nemo underwater world. Motion sickness be damned, this was worth every dizzy moment.
Adrenaline Rush
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror - Absolutely terrifying and absolutely brilliant. The French version has its own unique storyline and it's genuinely scary.
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster - Aerosmith soundtrack, loop-de-loops, and that perfect moment when you realize you're screaming along to "Sweet Emotion" while upside down.
Adult Disney Dining Done Right
Plaza Gardens Restaurant - Character dining without kids running around meant actual conversations with Disney characters. Mickey Mouse asked about our travels, we had a proper chat. Surreal and wonderful.
Bistrot Chez Rémy - Themed around Ratatouille, tiny chairs, giant props, and genuinely good French cuisine. Felt like dining in the movie.
Disney snack game: Churros obviously, but the French pastries throughout the park are next level. The Mickey-shaped macarons are almost too pretty to eat. Almost.
What We Learned: Disney Adult Edition
Skip the crowds: September weekdays = bliss. Short lines, better photos, more time to actually enjoy each experience.
Embrace the magic: We wore subtle Disney accessories, took photos with characters, and sang along to every soundtrack. Life's too short for Disney shame.
Two days is perfect: Any less feels rushed, any more might be overkill for first-timers.
Download the app: Real-time wait times, mobile food ordering, and digital PhotoPass. Technology making magic even more magical.
The Instagram-Worthy Spots You Need
Main Street USA at golden hour - Classic Disney magic
Sleeping Beauty Castle - Every angle is perfect
Marvel Campus - Superhero poses mandatory
Inside Phantom Manor - Hauntingly beautiful (if you can sneak a quick pic)
Ratatouille kitchen scenes - Miniature food paradise
Bottom Line
Disneyland Paris as adults? Absolutely magical. No tantrums (except maybe when Space Mountain broke down), no nap schedules, just pure appreciation for incredible storytelling, jaw-dropping engineering, and that special Disney magic that hits different when you can actually pause and appreciate the details.

Planning your own Disney adventure? Trust me, book those tickets. Your inner child (and your Instagram feed) will thank you.
